Students will need to have the following forms to pick up a Chromebook: G-Suite Parental Consent, Shikellamy School District Insurance Obligation Agreement, and Acceptable Use of Networks. Dear Students, The district has made the decision to move our Half-day Wednesdays to Fridays until the end of February. With Covid-19 cases currently at high levels, closing allows us to conduct a “Deep Clean”. This resets our case counts and allows our HS to remain open. The expectations for our Half-day Virtual Fridays are as follows: 1. All Remote and In-Person students should be logged in and attending Google Meets for each period (except lunch and study hall). Dear Students, On Wednesday, our first early dismissal, we will be using 12 buses for the early dismissal days. Some of our bus runs will now be combined together. Combined buses will have a magnet located next to the bus door. Example: Students who ride Bus #1 and Bus #3 will now be on one bus together. The magnet will show 1 & 3. COVID-19 is continuing to steal from the events and milestones of our children and young adults that define their childhood years. With the uncertainty of the upcoming sports seasons being restricted or even cancelled we want to make sure that our valley athletes know that we support them. Watching your child play a sport they love is one of the great blessings of parenthood. The thrill is both vicarious and immersed. It’s exhilarating to see their athletic prowess and grit. Due to the extended closure of schools, the Shikellamy School Board adopted the following minimum graduation requirements according to PA School Code for the Class of 2020 on May 14, 2020: 4 English credits 3 Mathematics credits 3 Science credits 3 Social Studies credits 2 Arts and/or Humanities credits 1 Health and Physical Education credits + 5 elective credits
