Objective Performance Standards

  1. To establish additional 339 programs to create career pathways for students to explore and specialize in career opportunities.  (one of these will be the Health Science)

  1. To grow the Cooperative Education program where students can receive high school credit for an internship during the school year.

  1. Implement the new English Language Arts Programs throughout the district and measure academic growth from the use of the programs with fidelity over the next three years.  Goal is to have an average of a 2% increase in ELA benchmarking and see growth in local and state assessments.  Any new program takes at least three years to make a true impact.

    • Develop a cycle of review for each discipline within the district

    • Review current resources for each department and update within the constraints of the annual budget

  2. Continue to promote the Shikellamy School District in a positive manner through the media, social media posting, and getting positive stories out to our community.  Send out an annual summer newsletter to promote the district at all levels.

  1. Implement the SEL Programs k-12 to focus on the social and emotional wellness of our students.

  2. Continue to explore ways to increase elective offerings that are either budget neutral or that fit within the constraints of our annual budget.

  1. Manage the All Sports Complex project at the direction of the board.

  1. Update and/or review all school policies that are older than 5 years. This will be a multi-year goal to be completed on or before the end of the 23-24 school year.
