A message from Dr. Jason Bendle – Superintendent

A few items of importance for parents –

The CDC recommends face covering, the District recommends face covering; however, they are voluntary.

Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine if exposed to positive cases unless they exhibit symptoms but should wear a mask for 10 days following exposure.

This year the CDC says 3-6 feet determines a close contact. If exposed and positive and the close contact are both wearing masks, the close contact only has to quarantine if symptomatic. Exposed individuals should wear a mask for 10 days following exposure.

If your child is quarantined, they will need to quarantine for 10 days unless a doctor note is provided for less. Live- in situations with a positive case are different.

Please see our website for health and safety information. Our goal is to reduce risk as much as possible and keep children in school. If your child is sick, please keep them home. We are hoping for a more normal school year. Should you have any health related questions, please contact the Superintendent’s office.
