New Teacher Induction Program

In our district, we recognize that exceptional teachers are the key to a high-quality education. To ensure every educator starts strong, we offer a comprehensive two-year induction program for all new teachers.

This program includes personalized mentorship from experienced educators, ongoing professional learning opportunities, and dedicated time for reflection and collaboration. Our goal is to help new teachers build effective instructional practices and feel connected and confident in their school communities.

Resources for Inductees & Mentors

We provide a range of resources to support both new teachers and their mentors throughout the induction process, helping to foster professional growth and success in the classroom.

Maintaining Pennsylvania Certification

Beyond induction, we’re committed to helping educators maintain their Pennsylvania teaching certification. This includes support with understanding and meeting Act 48 continuing education requirements, tracking certification status, and navigating the transition from Level I to Level II certification when eligible.
